About Us
Salty Fox Sanctuary is a public nonprofit 501(c)(3), officially founded in September 2024. Our mission is to provide lifelong safety, enrichment, and love for foxes who have endured trauma—many of whom were rescued from fur farms.
At this time, we are not open to the public. While welcoming visitors is something we plan to do in the future, our current focus is on healing and enrichment. These foxes have lived through severe neglect and hardship, and we believe they deserve peace before ever being placed on display. When the time is right, and once we have secured our USDA license, we will open our doors to the public for educational tours and outreach. Until then, every ounce of our energy goes toward creating the best possible life for the foxes in our care.
We are always looking for the right people to grow with us. We welcome long-term volunteers, and at the moment we have one open spot we are actively interviewing for. Because we take the well-being of our foxes very seriously, all volunteers are carefully screened before being allowed on sanctuary grounds. If you are applying for community service hours, we ask that you email us directly and share the reason, including the nature of the charge and any relevant details.
