Willow

 

Willow came to us in 2021 when she was just three months old.

She was tragically discovered in the wild, trying to nurse from her mother who had been shot. All of her siblings had already passed, and she was the only survivor. Another rescue stepped in to save her, with hopes of releasing her back into the wild.

But Willow’s gentle nature and strong bond with people made her too friendly to be considered releasable, and she eventually found her forever home here at Salty Fox Sanctuary.

Today, Willow is happily paired with Finnegan. While you’d never see a gray fox and a red fox together in the wild, these two are inseparable, proof that sometimes the most unexpected bonds become the most beautiful.
