Birdie
Birdie, a beautiful Dakota Gold color morph red fox, came to us through the “Fur Farm 500” rescue with SaveAFox, arriving alongside her lifelong companion, Whisper.
Living up to her name, Birdie loves to perch high on her bed or the top of her house, surveying everything around her with quiet confidence. Though still quite young, likely two years old or less, Birdie has already faced several medical challenges. Since arriving, she has battled low liver numbers, a severe ear infection, and an eye infection.
With proper care and lots of love, she has overcome them all, proving just how strong and resilient she truly is. While Whisper is the more gentle and laid-back of the two, Birdie is the bolder spirit, curious and brave. Together, these sisters are a reminder that even foxes who have endured neglect and suffering can heal and thrive when given safety and love.
