Whisper
Whisper is a stunning red fox, though her snowy white coat makes her look so different from what most people expect. She came to us as part of the “Fur Farm 500” rescue through SaveAFox, arriving alongside her companion Birdie, with whom she had spent her entire life in a cramped wire cage on the fur farm.
Despite her painful beginnings, Whisper has a calm, easygoing temperament that makes her especially endearing. She is unusually small for a red fox, and she carries a unique trait known as a corkscrew tail. a genetic defect caused by years of selective breeding in the fur trade.
Whisper’s delicate beauty and gentle spirit remind us that every fox, no matter their size or scars, deserves safety, respect, and love.
