Koa, Our Gentle Fennec Companion 

KOA is one of our beloved fennec foxes, and while he is not a rescue, he plays a very special role in our sanctuary family.

As a male fennec, Koa provides companionship and balance to our female fennecs who were owner surrenders. His presence helps create a sense of stability and comfort for them, allowing the girls to thrive in a social group where they feel safe and at home.

With his big ears, curious personality, and gentle spirit, Koa has become an important part of daily life here at Salty Fox Sanctuary. He reminds us that every fox, rescue or not, can hold an irreplaceable place in our hearts and in our mission.

Koa is not only a companion to the other fennecs, he’s also a symbol of the love and community that makes our sanctuary whole
